Hello #SahabatData, Did you know, BPS has again released the latest Poverty Rate. Based on the results of the March 2024 Susenas, which was conducted on February 19-March 9, 2024.

This poverty rate is an important indicator to see the success of a region's development. A declining poverty rate shows the success of development by the local government in increasing economic growth and community welfare.

Based on the results of the March 2024 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the percentage of poor people in Lembata Regency in March 2024 decreased by 0.56 percentage points to 24.22 percent from 24.78 percent in March 2023. This figure is equivalent to the number of poor people in the range of 37.72 thousand people in March 2024 or a decrease of around 0.22 thousand people in the past year, from 37.94 thousand people in March 2023.
