On Monday, June 2, 2025, BPS Lembata Regency held a ceremony to commemorate the birth of Pancasila.

The mandate was delivered directly by the Acting Head of Lembata Regency BPS Petrus Pitang, SST. emphasizing the importance of remembering and reaffirming commitment to the noble values of Pancasila as the foundation of the state more than just a historical document, Pancasila is elaborated as the soul of the nation, a guide to life, and a guide in realizing the ideals of an independent, united, sovereign, just and prosperous Indonesia.

Pancasila is the glue for more than 270 million Indonesians who are diverse in ethnicity, religion, race and culture. Diversity, not as a trigger for division, but as a unifying force of the nation that is very important to remember.
