Abstract
The NTT economy in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 3.66 percent
compared to the same period in 2023 (y-on-y). In terms of business fields, the
highest economic growth was achieved by the business field of providing
accommodation and eating and drinking, which amounted to 13.56 percent.
Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the consumption expenditure component of
non-profit institutions serving households (PK-LNPRT) experienced the highest
growth of 11.06 percent.
When compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q), the NTT economy in the
third quarter of 2024 contracted by 1.34 percent. In terms of business fields,
the highest growth occurred in the electricity and gas procurement business
field at 8.65 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Gross Fixed
Capital Formation (PMTB) component experienced the highest growth of 1.72
percent.
The NTT economy in the first quarter of 2024 grew by 4.02 percent
(c-to-c). In terms of business fields, the highest economic growth was achieved
by the business field of providing accommodation and eating and drinking at
11.54 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the consumption
expenditure component of non-profit institutions serving households (PK-LNPRT)
experienced the highest growth, namely 13.19 percent.
The structure of the NTT economy in the third
quarter of 2024 was still dominated by the agriculture, forestry and fisheries
business fields with a contribution of 28.76 percent. Meanwhile, from the
expenditure side, it was still dominated by the Household Consumption
Expenditure Component, which amounted to 66.23 percent.
